Attorney Profiles

Douglas R. Bradley joined Shamberg, Johnson and Bergman as a law clerk in May 2005. After obtaining his license to practice law in Missouri, Doug accepted an offer to join the firm as a full time associate in May 2006. Born and raised in Lexington, Missouri, Doug is a third-generation attorney who brings small-town values and a tireless work ethic to his practice. From an early age, Doug learned to respect and admire the responsibility and personal reward that comes from being a trial attorney, having watched his father, Gary R. Bradley, help personal injury victims obtain justice as a child. Doug’s goal at Shamberg, Johnson and Bergman is to help innocent victims obtain just compensation for their losses. Since joining Shamberg, Johnson and Bergman, Doug’s practice has been focused on products liability, automotive and trucking accident litigation, medical negligence and general tort law.

Doug attended law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class in May 2006. While at law school, Doug was a member of the Law Review and assumed several leadership roles. He served as the Student Bar Association Treasurer, as a Teaching Assistant for the Academic Enrichment Program, and as Treasurer for the Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity. He was also the recipient of the Bar Plan Foundation Roy A. Larson Scholarship. As a new member of the legal community, Doug has continued his involvement in legal organizations and is a member of the Missouri Association for Justice, Kansas Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Doug graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in May 2003. Doug’s hobbies include jogging, skiing, SCUBA diving, and traveling. He also enjoys playing and watching his favorite sports including baseball, football, basketball, and golf. Most of all Doug looks forward to spending time with family and friends.
