Diane joined the firm in 2018. She graduated from the University of Missouri — Kansas City School of Law in December 2018 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in April 2019. As a student, Diane participated in the client interviewing competition, making it to the regional finals three years in row. She was a member of Law Review and her comment was published in University of Missouri — Kansas City School of Law, Law Review, Volume 87.3, The Patient Safety Quality Improvement Act: A Total Eclipse.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Diane practiced medicine for more than 20 years. She graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1994, after which she completed a pediatric residency at Mount Sinai in New York City and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Moving to the Kansas City area in 2005 to continue her career in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Mercy, Diane also served on the Children’s Mercy Institutional Review Board and Ethics Committee providing Ethics Consultation.
Outside of work, Diane is the mother of 2 teenagers and 3 large dogs. She enjoys being a mother, walking her dogs, hiking, biking, and anything outdoors.
