Karen Campbell
About
Karen joined Shamberg after graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2025, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Kansas Law Review, a Moot Court Council Member, a Rice Scholar, and the President of KU’s Student Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
A “townie” of sorts from Lawrence, Kansas, Karen received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kansas in 2019. After graduating, Karen first got acquainted with Shamberg as an administrator for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. Then, she spent three years in Washington, D.C., where she worked as an Aide to the Marshal of the United States Supreme Court.
Those three years, during which she worked every oral argument at the Court, inspired Karen to go to law school and advocate for those who have been wronged. She is passionate about access to justice and standing up for what’s right, and she is proud to work hard every day to make the world a fairer, safer, and more compassionate place.
Karen frequently channels her creative energy into baking and more often than not has treats to share. She enjoys spending time with her family in Lawrence, taking long phone calls from friends across the country, and trying new workout classes with her law school friends.
