Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman is pleased to share that our Administrator and CFO, Michael H. Hoffman, will be volunteering this August with the Women’s Employment Network (WEN) through a community service initiative organized by the Kansas City Association of Legal Administrators (KC-ALA).

Michael has committed to two separate service events with WEN, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help women achieve economic independence through sustained employment. On August 13, he will assist with resume reviews, offering one-on-one feedback to program participants preparing to reenter the workforce. On August 20, he will return as a mock interviewer, helping women sharpen their interview skills and gain confidence in a professional setting.

The Women's Employment Network plays a vital role in Kansas City by offering individualized support, employment coaching, financial guidance, and access to a network of community resources. As part of the OneKC for Women alliance and a LISC Financial Opportunity Center, WEN empowers women to pursue long-term self-sufficiency and stability, one life at a time.

At Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman, we believe in giving back to the same communities that place their trust in us during life’s most difficult moments. Whether it’s sponsoring local youth programs or little league teams, or volunteering time to support workforce development, we are committed to making a difference beyond the courtroom.
